We don't resell email, on purpose. You buy Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 directly in your own name, so their spam and security protection works for you and your mailboxes are never tied to us. We connect it to your domain properly for a one-off $99, and Care plans check your email security records stay correct.

If you only need an address like info@yourbusiness.com.au forwarded to your existing inbox, we can set up free email forwarding with your domain instead. No monthly mailbox fees.

About Studio9.

A small Gold Coast studio that builds fast, custom websites at an honest, fixed price, then hands you every file. Studio9 is the web design studio of PixelCraft.

Why we started.

We started by building the software behind our own Gold Coast businesses: inspection reports, conveyancing portals, booking systems and payments.

Along the way we kept meeting local owners who had been quoted $3,000 to $15,000 by agencies, or who were stuck renting a website they would never own. So we built a better way: three published prices, a ten-day process, motion and an editing dashboard as standard, and every file handed over at the end.

How can it be $290 when agencies charge $3,000 to $15,000?

We don't run a big office, account managers or long discovery workshops. We use modern tools to build faster, and spend the time on design and code instead of meetings. The site itself is the same kind of hand-built work.

Is it really custom, not a template?

Yes. Every site starts from a blank page and is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript for your business. No themes, no page builders, no shared layouts.

What does "you own it" actually mean?

At handover you receive every file, image and password. Your domain is registered in your name. If you ever want another developer to take over, they can open the files and carry on.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee?

Not to us. You'll need hosting, which you pay directly to a hosting company, usually a few dollars to around $30 a month depending on the site. We set it up for you.

What's the difference between Starter, Business and Studio?

Starter ($290) covers 1 to 5 pages. Business ($690) covers 6 to 20 pages. Both include your own dashboard, smooth animation, SEO and GEO, copywriting and a perfect fit on every screen. Studio ($1,090) covers up to 20 pages and adds advanced scroll-driven and 3D animation, Stripe payments and online booking. An instant quote calculator is included in every package.

Do you provide email?

We don't resell email. You buy Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 directly, so you get their spam and security protection and your mailboxes are never tied to us. We connect it to your domain for a one-off $99. If you only need to receive email, we can set up free forwarding instead.

What is the Hands-off plan?

For $29 a month we host and look after your site, update your photos and wording once a month, and change your contact details free whenever you need. You never need to log in. We hold the code while you are on the plan, and if you leave we hand over the complete code free.

How long does a build take?

A 5-page website can be up and running within 2 working days of sign-off, and larger projects take up to 10. The clock starts once we have your brief and your content. We need you for about an hour in total: the brief, homepage feedback and a final check.

Is animation included on every site?

Yes. Every site has smooth motion as standard, and you can choose the style in the Design Lab. Studio adds advanced effects like the scroll scene at the top of our homepage.

What if I don't like the first design?

You see three homepage designs within 2 working days, free. If none is right, you walk away and pay nothing.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes, on every site, at no extra cost. You get your own dashboard to change wording, swap photos, update prices and add projects. Press publish and it's live in about a minute. It works even if you host the site yourself on Netlify or Cloudflare.

Why only a few build spots a month?

We are a small team of four on the Gold Coast, and we build every site ourselves. Limiting spots is how we keep each build fast and personal.

Can I use my exact brand colours?

Yes. Enter your hex codes in the Design Lab, or paste your brand guide and we'll pull the colours out. They're sent with your enquiry.

Can you move my site off Wix, Squarespace or a rental scheme?

Yes. We rebuild it properly, bring across your content and images, and redirect your old pages so you keep your Google rankings.

Do you write the words?

You can supply your own, or add copywriting in the calculator and we'll write every page for you.

How do payments work?

Nothing up front: your three homepage designs are free. A 50% deposit when you approve your design, and the balance when you approve the finished site before launch. All prices are plus GST.
